User Submitted Tips

  • I gained some weight and wanted to start working out, so I joined a gym. I was looking in my closet for something to wear, and I realized I had no workout apparel. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on workout clothes because I had planned on losing some of this weight I gained. I did go shopping and got a few pair of workout pants and shirts. I noticed that you can get really cheap workout apparel, or really expensive ones. I went with a price in between. I suggest getting the more form fitting apparel. I have found that loose fitting clothes when working out can get in the way.
  • It was the end of January and my little guy woke up and jumped for joy that it was snowed the night before. There were a good 7 inches outside, perfect for sledding and having a snow ball fight. I pulled the bin from the closet with all of the goodies and started layering him up. First long underwear, then his jeans and long sleeve shirt, then the snow suit with an equally as thick all weather jacket. After putting on his wool socks and snow boots it was time for gloves, a pair of cotton gloves followed by water proof gloves. I got his hat on him, pulled up the hood on his coat and told him he was all set to go play. He stopped and hung his head for a minute, when I asked what was wrong, he simply stated, "I have to go to the bathroom, now".
