- I have two dogs and pet hair galore. Therefore, I need a dependable heavy-duty vacuum cleaner. I did research to find more information about both upright and canister vacuum cleaners. After weighing the pros and cons of both, I decided to purchase a canister vacuum cleaner. The canister allows me to change brushes and vacuum pet hair from floors and furniture. I also have some hardwood in my house. The soft bristles on the vacuum I chose allows me to also use it on my hardwood. By getting a vacuum cleaner that does it all, I save time when it comes to housework.
- I heard from a friend that you can go to some kind of resale shop for vacuum cleaners. They are refurbished and work like new. So, I thought I would check it out since I was in need of a new vacuum and didn't have a lot of money to spend on one. I found the one I wanted that was regular $800.00 new I bought a used one for $150.00. And I must say that it works like it is brand new. I love it, it is light weight and has lots of cleaning tools that I need when cleaning the house. I will say that I don't think it sucks up as much dirt as it would new but it still has some power. I will never pay full price for a vacuum cleaner again.
- If I get to choose, I only use upright canister vacuums. These vacuums are easier to maneuver and store. Plus, they come with filters to help keep the allergens down. I have tried the bulky floor vacuums. They are hard to move, and you have to carry them from room to room. I like the way the upright canister vacuums allow you to vacuum with ease. And, you can choose to buy one that requires bags, or one with a plastic container that catches the dirt. You can't go wrong with an upright.
- My vacuum cleaner, which was over fifteen years old, decided to quit on me the other day. So, I knew I had to go vacuum shopping. Realizing how expensive vacuums could be, I really made an effort to research the different brands. I wanted to get a good vacuum-but at a good price. I found the consumer reports and reviews on the Internet to be quite helpful. They helped me decide not only the brand of vacuum I might want, but also the style. The reviews gave me tips on where to buy the vacuums as well.
