- After seeing my grandmother suffer from cataracts, I cannot express the importance of wearing sunglasses-especially UV sunglasses. It doesn't matter if it is the middle of summer or the dead of winter-if you are going to be outdoors for any amount of time, it is essential to wear sunglasses. I even make my five-year-old daughter wear them in the car when we go on long trips. The sun can just be so damaging to the eyes. So, protect your eyes, just like you protect your head with a warm hat or your feet with socks.
- The world of the sunglass device is amazing. I have broken more sunglasses by accident than I care to ever admit. This being said I'm lover of the lens. The bright fireball blazing in our sky has driven me to become an extreme wearer of sunglasses. Known as shades in my circle they are necessary. Quick tip friend, wanna be cool and understand the light then wear the shade. I have about 50 pairs of sunglasses currently and I share them too. We all need to understand the importance of proper eye protection.
- Sunglasses are not the only things that will protect your eyes from the sun. I recently purchased a pair of sun goggles. I enjoy outdoor sports such as cycling and running. I wanted to protect my eyes, but sunglasses seemed to always slide off my nose when I was active. It was a relief the day I discovered sun goggles. The strap on the sun goggles keep them snug and they never slip. They also work well with my helmet when I am cycling. I was surprised at how inexpensive they are too. Now you can bet more pricey ones, but I got a cheaper pair, and they work great.
