- When I throw a party, I like to have a theme and have everything matching. That is why I usually go to a party store to get all of my decorations. They have everything I need in just about any theme I can think of. They have decorations for birthdays, graduations, anniversaries and any special holiday. You can get paper plates, napkins, party bags, banners and more. And the best thing for me is they all matched! I was even able to pick up party favors that went perfect with my theme. I didn't spend a fortunate either!
- My son's birthday is coming up. We want to have a party at our home. Since his birthday is in the summer, we thought it would be fun to have an inflatable in the back yard for the birthday boy and guests to enjoy. I found a party rental store that had just what we needed. They had every kind of inflatable imaginable for any age group. They were relatively cheap to rent in comparison to other parties we have thrown. The guys at the party rental store came out and set it up. We rented it for two hours. At that time they returned and took it all down. Now that was a piece of cake!
- The most stressful part about a party is the planning process. That is why I always hire a party planner, and I've never been let down. They arrange a time to come by and we talk about what I want to accomplish with this particular event. Then we talk about the theme and what kinds of food to serve. If it's a formal affair I like to have a sit down meal, but for casual parties finger foods are fine. Once all of those details are considered the last thing the planner needs to know is how many people we are expecting to attend. It's the easiest way to throw a party!
- I love throwing parties. Last year I threw a luau party and invited all of our friends and neighbors. We had the best time and it was all a synch to throw together because of a local party shop. I was able to get leis for all of our guests and coconut cups with little paper umbrellas for everyone's drinks. The paper plates and napkins were all floral and matched perfectly. I was even able to find a CD with luau music on it, it helped set the mood and allowed for dancing into the night.
