- There are a number of health and beauty stores online. With the puzzling array of products available in the health and beauty aisles in local stores, sometimes it's easier to sort things out online, so you're not standing in the aisles for hours. The best thing to do once you've figured out the product or products you need, is to see which stores sell the product locally-saves on shipping. You might also want to check out health and beauty store coupon sites, too. If you can't get it locally, go to a comparison site to find who sell s it for less.
- My tip for deciding which discount health and beauty stores to shop in is this-don't buy other products if you don't have too! Because these stores are marketed as just health and beauty stores, almost anything else, especially cleaning supplies, diapers, and paper products is expensive compared to grocery stores. Now, the prices and selection on health and beauty products are better than discount stores, but just watch out for the overpriced, non-health and beauty related items. Also, unless it's an absolute necessity, don't buy milk there, it's always overpriced.
- I am a big believer in organics, and have been shopping in organic health and beauty stores for years. However, with people beginning to realize the benefits of organic living, organic or natural health and beauty stores are pretty easy to come by. Sure organic products are a little more expensive, but it's my body and I don't want to put any crazy chemicals in it or on it! Make sure that whatever products you choose, they are "certified organic," meaning the products have been grown/manufactured in an approved manner.
