User Submitted Tips

  • It is no doubt that we love our beverages, with many of us drinking either coffee or tea on a daily basis. So, the need for these specialty stores is ever growing. My favorite stores are the coffee shops with an array of different brews. My all time favorite flavor is vanilla; it is so smooth and has just a hint of vanilla with a twist. The runner up is hazelnut, another smooth blend, not too strong, and when it is combined with a little milk and sugar. it makes for the perfect afternoon pick me up. If you ask the employees of the coffee stores, they will grind the coffee for you in the exact amount and granulation you prefer. Tea can also be bought by weight, but there is no need to grind it. You will need a filter if you are buying loose tea; it's a little more work, but definitely worth the effort.
  • Have you ever found yourself digging through the consoles of your car looking for change? Change that will buy you that shot of espresso that will give you the boost of caffeine you need to get your morning started. Rather than getting your fix of espresso each over priced shot at time, why not consider purchasing an espresso machine. Be prepared to drop some cash upfront, as these machines are not cheap. Go to a store that specializes in coffee machines and ask questions. The sales clerk should be knowledgeable and guide you in the right direction for you purchase. You will initially spend way more than your average cup of coffee, but it will save you time and money in the long run.
  • Of all the major coffee chains that have moved into my area are good. The shops I enjoy getting my coffee at though are the locally owned shops and online. The prices are reasonable and the locals that run them are genuine country folks. I'm used to paying just a few cents per cup. The other day I went into a big coffee shop and they wanted 10 times that much for one cup. I started to tell everyone in there that online and down the street it's much cheaper but management asked me to leave before I could make my case.
