User Submitted Tips

  • My son recently started playing cricket. And, as a mother who knows little about the sport, I wanted to make sure I got him the right equipment. So, I headed to the best directory in the world: the Internet. I searched for the gear he would need, including the best brands and safest equipment-after all, even if my son is 16, he is still my baby and I want to keep him safe. There were a lot of online sporting goods stores to browse though. I was able to find everything my son would need to begin his new sport-SAFELY.
  • It's been a bit of bum leg trying to gather up all my camping gear this year. Forget about it, I'm buying all new. My tent is a real piece of rubbish, she's right dead limb if you ask me. And she can consider herself replaced by a new one from the sporting goods store down the street. I was set on buying from my best shop up town, but they have last years gear. Another thing was the kayak one of the blokes was selling; this store had all the goods for me. So I figured why not throw them all my biz. Drop all my scratch in the same spot.
  • My family and I are sports fanatics. So we are regulars at the local retail sporting good stores. We go just about every season to get new equipment. There are several retail sporting good stores in our area, but we prefer the mega sporting goods store. It has sporting equipment for every family members interests. We all run off to different departments and meet back at the register for check out. I also found a sporting goods store that allows us to trade in our old sports equipment for store credit or cash. We take advantage of this often to save us money on new equipment.
