I have found that the best food products and condiments to buy on line are the ones that have an actual food processing plant in the same country that you live in. Maybe the exception would be condiments, if they are not required to be refrigerated. You never know what might happen with other kinds of foods shipped from other countries. At least if you're getting stuff from the same country you live in you can be fairly sure that nothing bad happened to it on the way to you!
Online grocery stores are pretty cool! They offer lots of varieties of groceries from produce to cleaning supplies and pet food. One drawback to buying food products and condiments from online grocery stores is the cost. Although if the thought of going to the grocery store gives you hives, the cost doesn't seem like a big deal & some sites offer free shipping on orders over a certain amount. Probably would be good, too, for really busy people who make good money! Another negative is no local products, but they do offer organic stuff.
My tip for looking for food products and condiments is to go with established or at least well-trusted brands. Obviously, if people trust the producers, they must be doing something right! Unless you're really brave, don't be eager to try some unheard of company. Talk to your friends, read food blogs and customer reviews. Don't be afraid to try something new-from one of those established food and condiment companies, of course. You may be pleasantly surprised, but make sure you know about their return policy. Look for free shipping, too-and some places have sample packages you can get for pretty cheap!
