I just found out that I am having a baby, and with this being my first child, I was really eager to get started finding all of the latest and greatest in baby accessories. I have discovered that there are a ton of accessories out there for babies these days, from diaper warmers to bottle warmers to bouncy seats. The accessory I'm most excited about is the new portable swings. They sit low to the ground, and they don't have to be hand-cranked like the swings from the "olden days." They have so many fun songs and lights, that I just know the baby will love it! And, best of all, I can easily take the swing to grandma's house when we visit!
I am expecting soon, and my friends want to throw me a baby shower. They have asked me to complete a baby registry at a local baby shop. When I went into the shop to do this, I was overwhelmed. This is my first, and I didn't realize how many baby products there are out there. I am going to need so many things: a high chair, crib, and changing table. Even little things like pacifiers, bibs and diapers. Wow! I was looking at strollers in the store and couldn't quite decide which would best fit my needs, so I haven't registered for that yet. Does anyone have any tips on purchasing the right stroller? I want to go back and register for one, but just don't know what kind I would want.
I love shopping for little babies. And, with all of the different baby stores out there, I can find everything for my little nieces and nephews. I especially love looking for baby accessories. Anytime I see a new rattle or a fun toy, I immediately pick it up-especially if it makes lots of noise-I am the aunt after all. Recently, I discovered a new way to shop for the little babies in my family: online. Now, I can browse the Internet any time of the day, ordering cute clothes and accessories and sending them straight to my sister, who lives a few hours a way. I would have to pay for shipping anyway, so now this just saves a little time. I can't wait to see my baby niece in the new corduroy hat I just bought her!
